We start with a free consultation to learn about you, your firm, and your situation.

With this information, our investment advisor funding expert is able to understand your financial needs, explain how the transaction process works and discuss possible funding options that would support your specific goals. Because we become familiar with your business, we may be able to pre-approve you for a loan. We'll also answer any questions or concerns you might have related to the business acquisition process, equity finance or debt restructuring.

STEP 2

Underwriting and Approval

We review all documents you submit and help determine if the deal meets your needs.

After your loan is approved, you'll receive a written Commitment to Lend document, which explains your loan's rates, terms and conditions. Your funding expert will be ready to answer any questions and make sure you are completely familiar with the loan agreements before you decide to go ahead with the offer. The underwriting and approval step takes approximately three weeks.

STEP 3

Closing and Funding

We assign you a closing coordinator once you accept the offer.

We'll examine all closing documents (such as the asset purchase agreement and seller financing documents) to ensure your loan is correctly filed and that all your personal and financial interests are protected.
